Police Executive Service Examination (PESE) August 2011 Schedule
This pertains to the conduct of the Police Executive Service Examination (PESE) for all qualified Uniformed Personnel of the PNP. The examination is open to all Police Superintendents and above with permanent status of appointment.
The PESE has two (2) phases: Phase I is the Written Examination to be conducted on August 28, 2011 in Metro Manila (NCR), Cebu and Davao City. Phase II is the Panel Interview for those who shall pass the Written Examination, the schedule of which shall be announced after the release of the results of the Written Examination.
Those who pass the PESE, both Phase I and II shall be granted the Third Level Eligibility which is a requirement for promotion to 3rd level ranks (PSSUPT to PDG).
The filing of applications for the PESE is only from July 11 to August 5, 2011. Application Form (NAPOLCOM Form 1-A) and Index Cards can be obtained for FREE at the NAPOLCOM Central Office located at No. 371 Sen Gil J Puyat Avenue. Makati City or at any NAPOLCOM Regional Office nationwide. These may be REPRODUCED using the original copy and size of the application form and index card. Also, application forms may be downloaded from the NAPOLCOM website: www.napolcom.gov.ph.
The applicant must personally, completely and correctly fill up both the Application Form and Index Card with the following required documents:
a. Properly accomplished Examination Application Form (NAPOLCOM Form I-A) and Index Card;
b. Examination fee of P700.00;
c. One (1) piece latest I.D. (1×1 size) and two (2) latest identical ID (passport size) pictures with full name tag that includes the First Name, Middle Initial and Surname taken within three (3) months before the date of filing of the application. Pictures that are scanned, photocopied or computer generated/enhanced will not accepted;
d. Two (2) legal size window envelopes with Nine Pesos (P9.00) worth of mailing stamps affixed on each; and
e. Certified true copy of attested appointment (KSS Form Big. 33) in permanent status.
Application may be filed together with all the required supporting documents, personally or by mail, at any of the 17 NAPOLCOM Regional Offices on or before the deadline for filing (August 5, 2011). An applicant must file only one (1) application form.
Qualified applicants will be notified through NOTICE OF ADMISSION. In case an applicant fails to receive such notice within five (5) days before the date of examination, he/she may verify the status of his/her application at the NAPOLCOM Office where his/her application was filed or at the NAPOLCOM Central Office at Telephone Nos. (02) 899-0085.
During the examination, examinees MUST observe the PROPER DRESS CODE (Polo Barong is required) and to bring along with them the following:
a. Notice of Admission;
b. Lead Pencil No.2;
c. Black or Blue Ball pen;
d. Any valid identification card with picture (Office ID, Driver’s License, Valid Passport ID);
e. One (1) passport size photograph.
Examinees are advised to refrain from bringing the following:
a. firearms, explosives, or any other deadly weapon
b. Cellular phones, pagers or any two-way radio communication equipment; and
Examinees shall be notified of the result of Phase I – Written Examination by mail. However, personal verification shall also be entertained.
