National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) set the entrance exam on April 29, 2012. Applicants for police entrance and promotion exams should get ready as the filing of applications will start on February 14 until March 16, 2012.

Applicants shall utilize the on-line system to request the Regional Office for their schedule on the filing of examination application. Applicants will personally appear at the NAPOLCOM Regional Office on the date assigned to them, with their printed on-line confirmation letter and other required documents, for further evaluation.
Applicants are advised to secure online appointment first before going to any NAPOLCOM Regional Office during the confirmed scheduled appointment. All application forms will be made available online at the NAPOLCOM website (www.napolcom.gov.ph) from February 1 to 13, 2012. PNP personnel set to take promotional examinations should be reminded of the following: the name tag should indicate first the rank followed by the first name, middle and last names.
PNP entrance exams is open to civilians who are holding a bachelor’s degree, under 30 years old, and at least 1.62 meters in height for male and 1.57 meters for female. For civilian applicants with confirmed scheduled appointment must bring the following: (a) one legal size window envelope; (b) one mailing stamp worth P9 for applicants from NCR, CAR, Regions 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 and P12 for Visayas and Mindanao, Occidental and Oriental Mindoro, Palawan and Masbate; (c) transcript of scholastic records or diploma; and (d) birth certificate.
Examination fee is at P400 for the Police Officer Exam , P450 for the Senior Police Officer Exam, P500 for the Police Inspector Exam, and P600 for the Police Superintendent Exam.
Applicants are advised to comply with the above-mentioned requirements along with a Report of Rating/Certification issued by the NAPOLCOM Central Office, CSC Certified Copy of Eligibility and/or PRC Board Certificate.
The coverage for the PNP entrance tests include general information, verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning and logical reasoning. The promotional exam includes general information, police administration, police operations and police values, as well as ethical standards.
Successful examinees will be conferred with the PNP Entrance Eligibility which is appropriate for the appointment of Police Officer 1 rank. Passers of the promotional exams shall be conferred the eligibility appropriate for promotion corresponding to the Eligibility Rank Coverage. Personnel with temporary appointment should also submit a certified true copy of Attested Appointment, Plantilla Appointment or Special Order.
