SU was the first protestant school to be founded in the philippines and the oldest american university in Asia,established on August 28, 1901. So, to my fellow
Sillimanians its normal reactions to overwhelm ourselves because of what our university has achieved, but things we must aware of, please do not engage to utter thrust words against other universities which placed below when it comes to their rankings. Imagine for numerous colleges and universities nationwide and be one of the lists in top 20 that’s something really big. I fervently believe even those schools not included in the top 20 still can offer the best, guys the mere fact is, not everybody can be admitted to UP nor to the rest of the most reputable schools in the country, instead we must be thankful enough of a having a privilege so study and earn a degree in order for us to be a well rounded persons. The Reason and Insecurity Shows?…. peace!
